Dr. Craig L. Ziering
Dr. Craig L. Ziering is a highly experienced hair transplant surgeon with over 29 years in the field. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University and completed his residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at Ohio University's Grandview Medical Center. Dr. Ziering further honed his skills with a fellowship in hair restoration surgery. He is board-certified by both the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology. Dr. Ziering is a recognized pioneer in hair restoration, known for innovations like the Ziering Whorl classification system, for which he received the "Most Original New Idea" award from the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS). He has also been recognized with the "Clinic of Excellence" designation from Restoration Robotics. Dr. Ziering holds academic positions, serving on the surgical faculty for fellowships at the University of California at Irvine, Western University, and Michigan State University. He is also a past President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and has served on the founding board of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons.
