Dr. Craig L. Ziering
Dr. Craig L. Ziering is a highly experienced hair transplant surgeon with over 30 years in the field. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University and completed his residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at Ohio University's Grandview Medical Center. Dr. Ziering further specialized with a Fellowship in Hair Restoration. He is board-certified by both the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) and the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology (AOCD). Dr. Ziering is a recognized pioneer in hair restoration, credited with innovations such as the Ziering Whorl, Ziering Blades, Ziering Scope, and the Ziering Tunnel Technique, which are used globally. He has been honored by the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS) with the "Most Original New Idea" award for his Whorl Hair Classification System and has received the "Clinic of Excellence" designation from Restoration Robotics. Dr. Ziering also holds leadership positions within professional organizations, having served as Past President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and as a founding board member of the ABHRS. He actively contributes to surgical education, serving on the faculty of the ISHRS World Congress for over 20 years and teaching at various universities.
