Dr. Joseph Yaker is a dedicated hair restoration surgeon and the founder and medical director of YAKER Hair Restoration in Plano, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Yaker completed his general surgery internship at the Mayo Clinic and is board-certified in Family Medicine following his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He further honed his skills with a fellowship in hair transplant surgery under Dr. Mark S. DiStefano and is also fellowship-trained and board-certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Yaker is an active member of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and is the only physician in Dallas appointed to the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons (IAHRS), an organization known for its selective membership of state-of-the-art surgeons. He is also recommended by the American Hair Loss Association and Joe Tillman, The Hair Transplant Mentor™. With over a thousand successful hair transplants performed, Dr. Yaker specializes in advanced surgical and non-surgical hair loss treatments for both men and women.
