Dr. Akaki Tsilosani
Dr. Akaki Tsilosani is a highly experienced hair transplant surgeon with over 22 years in the field, having performed more than 12,000 successful procedures worldwide. He earned his medical degree from Tbilisi State Medical University and holds a PhD. Dr. Tsilosani is a Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and is recognized for his contributions to the field. He is also a member of several other prestigious organizations, including the Asian Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (AAHRS) and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM). Dr. Tsilosani is noted for pioneering techniques such as the combination of FUT and FUE methods and was the first surgeon in Europe to perform Long Hair Transplantation. He holds a world record for achieving a density of 100 follicular units per square centimeter with a 92% survival rate in 2008, and also for transplanting 9,688 grafts in a single 11-hour session in 2012. Dr. Tsilosani is also an educator, training over 500 doctors globally in hair transplantation techniques.
