Dr. John Frank
Dr. John Frank is a highly experienced hair restoration surgeon with over 25 years dedicated to the field. He holds board certifications from both the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Frank earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University, where he was also a distinguished athlete, captaining the Buckeyes football team and later playing professionally for the San Francisco 49ers for five years, including two Super Bowl championships. He further honed his skills through residencies and fellowships in general surgery, otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loyola University Chicago, and a fellowship in skull base surgery at Columbia University. Dr. Frank is recognized for pioneering techniques in local anesthesia for the scalp to enhance patient comfort and has treated over 20,000 patients, performing more than 3,500 hair transplants.
