Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration

Dr. Parsa Mohebi is a hair transplant surgeon practicing in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and San Francisco. After medical school he completed a surgical internship at the University of North Dakota and a surgical residency at the University of New Mexico and York Hospital in Pennsylvania, then worked as a research fellow in the Department of Surgical Sciences at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, studying wound healing and growth factors. He completed a fellowship in hair restoration surgery at the New Hair Institute, working with Dr. William Rassman, before starting his own practice.

He performs strip and FUE hair transplant procedures, including one he calls Celebrity Hair Transplant™, and treats both men and women. He invented the Laxometer, a device that measures scalp mobility to help with wound closure in strip procedures, and the Mohebi Implanter, used to place follicular grafts. He speaks at conferences and academic institutions, has written journal articles and textbook chapters on hair restoration, and published the book Modern Hair Restoration in 2014, now in its third edition.

Dr. Manu Gujrati, known as Dr. G, specializes in hair restoration and performs hair transplant procedures at the Northern California office of Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration, based in San Francisco and seeing patients from across Northern California. He attended medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Kentucky – Chandler Medical Center, and then undertook a fellowship in hair restoration surgery at the Alabama Hair Institute. During consultations he discusses patients' reasons for seeking a hair transplant and their intended results, and his work includes hairline design aimed at natural appearance and greater density.

Dr. Michael Pan is a board-certified dermatologist and hair restoration surgeon at Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration in Los Angeles. He earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and previously served on the faculty of the Dermatology Residency Training Program at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Pan focuses on providing precise surgical techniques with an artistic approach to create natural-looking hairlines for his patients. He has also co-authored publications on hair restoration techniques, including an article on FUE graft harvesting problems and solutions.
