Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian
Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian is a distinguished cosmetic surgeon who founded the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute in 1981. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Cook County Hospital. Dr. Tcheupdjian is widely recognized as a pioneer in liposuction and lipotherapy, having performed or supervised more procedures than perhaps any other American cosmetic surgeon. He has authored a respected textbook on liposuction, "Liposuction: New Hope for a New Figure through the Art of Body Contouring," and has designed several surgical instruments still in use today. His professional affiliations include being a Diplomate of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, as well as memberships in the American Medical Association and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery. Dr. Tcheupdjian is also noted for his frequent appearances in media discussing his expertise and was recognized as one of the top 50 Allergan Partner Practices in the nation.
