Dr John Frank, MD
Dr. John Frank, MD, is a highly experienced hair restoration surgeon with over 30 years in the medical field. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he was also captain of the Buckeyes football team and later inducted into the OSU Sports Hall of Fame. Dr. Frank then played professional football for the San Francisco 49ers for five seasons, winning two Super Bowls before retiring to pursue his medical career. His post-graduate training included residencies and fellowships in general surgery, otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loyola University Chicago, followed by a fellowship in skull base surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Frank is double board-certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has treated over 20,000 patients and performed more than 3,500 hair transplants, pioneering specialized techniques for patient comfort and offering a customized approach to hair restoration.
