Dr. Carlos Portinha is a distinguished Portuguese physician who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, specializing in General and Family Medicine. He is a member of the Portuguese Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery and holds specialized academic training in FUE Hair Transplant from the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and the European Hair Research Society (EHRS), of which he is a member. Dr. Portinha is also a principal investigator in research on stem cells applied to hair loss through a joint venture with Saúde Viável/i3S. He has contributed significantly to the field of hair transplantation, with numerous scientific publications and a focus on research in hair follicle genomics, anti-aging processes, alopecia, and robotics and technology for hair transplants.

Dr. Javier Pedraz is a highly regarded dermatologist and specialist in aesthetic medicine with extensive experience in hair transplantation. He earned his medical degree from the University of Salamanca and completed his specialization in Dermatological, Surgical, and Venereal Medicine at the University Hospital La Princesa in Madrid. Dr. Pedraz further honed his skills with a Master's in Aesthetic Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid and has undertaken international training at prestigious institutions like St. John's Dermatology Institute and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London. His professional background includes significant experience at public hospitals such as Hospital Clínico San Carlos and Hospital Universitario Quironsalud Madrid, where he has been involved in various aspects of dermatology, including Mohs surgery. Dr. Pedraz also holds leadership positions, serving as the Medical Director of Insparya Hair Medical Clinic in Madrid and has been President of SERECAP (Spanish Society of Hair Restoration) from 2019 to 2023. His dedication to advancing the field is evidenced by his role as a Principal Investigator in numerous clinical trials and his contributions as an Associate Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid.
