Dr. Alejandro Chueco
Dr. Alejandro Chueco graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 1988 with a degree in Medicine. He then practiced as a surgeon in various hospitals across Argentina for 18 years. In 2006, he shifted his focus entirely to hair transplant surgery, dedicating himself full-time to this specialty. Dr. Chueco is recognized for his extensive experience, having performed over 400,000 follicular unit extractions and placements annually since 2007, making him a leading specialist in Latin America. He exclusively uses the FUE technique and has developed specialized tools to enhance the precision and quality of hair transplant procedures, including tools for gauging follicular units and improving extraction rates. Dr. Chueco is a founding member and current president of the World FUE Institute and holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the Argentine Medical Association (AMA), the Argentine Association of Surgery (AAC), and the Spanish Association of Surgery. He is also known for his artistic approach to follicular unit placement, aiming for natural density and coverage in his procedures.
