Ilter Clinic performs FUE IM hair transplantation in Täby, in the Stockholm region. An initial consultation assesses factors such as age, family history of hair loss, hair type and the amount and quality of donor hair, with a micro camera used to examine hair quality and estimate density, and any medicinal treatment before or after surgery is discussed. The procedure takes place over a single day beginning in the morning with pre-operative photographs and cutting the hair short, followed by graft extraction under local anesthetic, a break for breakfast and lunch, discussion of the placement design, and insertion of the grafts one by one; patients have access to a private room with a balcony during breaks. Aftercare instructions and an aftercare kit are provided at the end of the day, a nurse calls one week later, and a final check-up is offered twelve months after the procedure.
