HRBR- Hair Restoration Blackrock

Dr. Maurice Collins is the Medical Director and Team Principal at Hair Restoration Blackrock (HRBR). He is a highly experienced surgeon with over two decades of expertise in hair transplant surgery, and more than 40 years of experience in microscopic surgery. Dr. Collins pursued his medical studies at University College Dublin and went on to train in General Surgery, earning a Fellowship (FRCSI) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He further specialized in Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery, receiving a Fellowship (FRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons in London, and then a Fellowship (FRCSEd.) in Head and Neck Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Dr. Collins has been a practicing Consultant Surgeon at the Blackrock Clinic for over 20 years, and his interest in hair transplant surgery began more than twenty years ago, leading him to train internationally with leading experts in the field. He is a member of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and was named Surgeon of the Month by the ISHRS in May/June 2007.

Dr. Joseph O'Connor is a Consultant Surgeon with over 30 years of experience and a lecturer in surgery at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels. He holds a Specialist Certificate in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ireland, and England. His qualifications include MB, BCh, BAO, FRCS (RCPS Glasg), FRCS (Edin), FRCS (Eng), and FRCSI. Dr. O'Connor is registered with the Irish Medical Council and is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). He has also been involved in research in cardiovascular and liver transplant surgery and has contributed to international literature on various surgical subjects.

Dr. Dmitri Wall is a consultant dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon who graduated from University College Dublin in 2004. He furthered his medical education by obtaining a Diploma from the Royal College of Physicians in London in 2008 and completed his specialist training in Ireland in 2017. Dr. Wall honed his expertise in hair disorders through an international fellowship in Melbourne, Australia, under the guidance of Professor Rodney Sinclair. He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and actively contributes to research, with publications in esteemed journals such as the British Journal of Dermatology and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Wall also holds an Associate Professor position at University College Dublin's School of Medicine and has a significant interest in health informatics, developing international patient registries.

Dr. Claragh Healy is a consultant plastic surgeon with a strong educational background, having graduated from University College Dublin in 1999. She further honed her skills by completing microsurgical fellowships in breast reconstruction and head and neck surgery in England, and a specialized fellowship in Perforator Flap Breast Reconstruction in the United States. Dr. Healy has been recognized for her academic achievements, receiving the RCSI Surgical Travel Grant in 2012. Her professional affiliations include membership with the Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons, the recognized body for plastic surgeons in Ireland. Dr. Healy's expertise lies in reconstructive breast surgery.
