Hasson & Wong

Dr. Jerry Wong is a co-founder of Hasson and Wong, which he opened with Dr. Hasson in 1997 to work exclusively on hair restoration surgery. He was introduced to hair restoration in 1991, trained at a hair transplant surgery school in Australia in 1992, and started a part-time hair transplant practice in 1993; alongside micro-mini grafting he learned to perform scalp reductions, lifts and flap procedures used in difficult repair cases. He first used the lateral slit technique in 1993, and the clinic developed methods including custom sized blades for recipient sites, depth control, dense packing and scalp stretching exercises, allowing sessions of 5000 or more grafts. He has lectured at industry meetings on the techniques developed at the clinic.

Dr. Victor Hasson is a co-founder of the Hasson & Wong hair transplant clinic in Vancouver, which he opened with Dr. Wong in 1997. He graduated in 1984, worked in general practice as an emergency medical officer at several locations in Canada between 1986 and 1992, and began a hair transplant surgical preceptorship in Vancouver in 1993, training at hair transplant centers across Canada. He performs Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), works with all hair and skin types and all types of hair loss, and helped introduce and refine the lateral slit technique along with Dr. Wong. His procedures average 3,500 to 4,500 follicular unit grafts per patient per day, and he routinely harvests over 5,000 grafts in a single session.
