Dr. Özgür Öztan
Dr. Özgür Öztan graduated from Ankara University Medical School in 2000 and has been practicing hair transplantation since 2003, focusing exclusively on the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method, particularly manual FUE. He is recognized as a pioneer and founder of the HLC Clinic in Ankara, established in 2003, and is the current medical director. Dr. Öztan holds an Associate Professor title in Toxicology from Ankara University, where he also completed his PhD in Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology. His professional affiliations include being a Fellow member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and a member and former chairman of FUE Europe. Notably, he received the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) diplomate title in 2021, an achievement held by a select number of surgeons worldwide, indicating adherence to the highest international standards. Dr. Öztan has also patented a technique for beard hair transplantation using a bifurcated needle.
