Dr. Meltem Senturk

As a dermatologist with extensive training, Dr. Meltem Senturk began her medical career in 1994 and specialized in dermatology in 2000. Her education includes advanced dermatological techniques, dermatology-cosmetology, and laser dermatology from Vrije University in Belgium, and she received a Certificate of Dermato-Cosmetic Sciences in Brussels in 1999. She practiced at Antalya State Hospital from 2000 to 2009 before dedicating herself to her private practice, where she founded DK Klinik in 2002. Dr. Senturk is a member of prestigious organizations such as the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the Turkish Dermatological Association (TURKDERM). DK Klinik, under her leadership, is recognized as a pioneer in health tourism in Antalya.

FUE

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique where individual hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor area using a small circular punch tool. The harvested follicles are then carefully implanted into the balding or thinning areas of the scalp. This method leaves tiny, nearly invisible scars rather than a linear scar, resulting in faster healing and the ability to wear shorter hairstyles. Because of this, FUE is the most popular hair transplant technique today.
