Dr. Mark DiStefano is a highly experienced hair restoration surgeon with over 40 years in the medical field. He began his career after graduating from Georgetown University Medical School and further honed his skills through residencies in General Surgery and Emergency Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. DiStefano is board-certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and is a Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He also holds memberships in the International Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and the European Society of Hair Restoration. Beyond his extensive surgical experience, which includes performing over 8,000 successful hair restoration procedures, Dr. DiStefano also contributes to medical education as a clinical instructor for plastic surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and serves as a hair restoration consultant for Harvard Medical International. He is also recognized for his international lecturing and his volunteer work with Operation Restore, a program that assists individuals with congenital or trauma-related scalp defects.

Dr. Chris Heinis brings a wealth of experience to hair restoration, having performed over 3,100 procedures. He began his medical career in emergency medicine, where he served for a decade as an Assistant Professor in the Emergency Department at the University of Massachusetts. During his time at UMass, he also held roles as a Quality Assurance Officer and Assistant Medical Director. Dr. Heinis graduated from Chicago Medical School and completed his residency at Kings County Hospital in the SUNY Downstate Medical Center. In 2012, he transitioned to hair restoration, joining DiStefano Hair Restoration Centers, and in 2018, he became the owner of the practice. Dr. DiStefano, founder of the center, noted Dr. Heinis's background in painting and drawing as a valuable asset, contributing to his artistic eye for creating natural-looking hairlines.
