Seth L Matarasso, M.D.
Dr. Seth L. Matarasso is a highly accomplished dermatologist with a strong educational background, having graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. He further honed his skills by completing a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. Dr. Matarasso holds a position as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCSF and has been recognized with the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award from the institution. He is a recognized expert in cosmetic dermatology, with over 75 published articles in peer-reviewed journals and more than 300 lectures delivered nationally and internationally. Dr. Matarasso also serves on the editorial boards of several prominent dermatology journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Archives of Dermatology. His leadership roles include being on the Board of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and serving as President of the California Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of numerous professional organizations such as the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Matarasso has received accolades including the Samuel J. Stegman, MD, Award for Distinguished Service and an Excellence in Education Award.
