Dr. Robert Drummond is an expert hair transplant surgeon with a deep understanding of hair science, holding both an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his medical internship and residency in Internal Medicine at LAC+USC Medical Center, followed by a postdoctoral research fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Drummond's academic achievements include graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Morehouse College, where he earned his B.S. in Biology. His commitment to advancing medical education and diversity has been recognized with awards such as the Johns Hopkins University Diversity Award and the Distinguished Medical Alumni Award. Dr. Drummond has also served as a Captain in the California US Army National Guard and utilizes his research background in inflammation and immunology in his hair restoration approach.

Dr. Carl Truesdale is a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is dual board-certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as otolaryngology. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College, where he majored in Biology and Spanish, graduating summa cum laude. He then earned his M.D. from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Truesdale completed his five-year residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan. He further specialized with a fellowship in facial plastic surgery in Beverly Hills. Dr. Truesdale has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Black Doctor for two consecutive years, including a 2024 Rising Star honor, indicating peer recognition within the medical community. He is also noted for his artistic approach to procedures, combining his skills as a portrait artist with his surgical expertise to achieve natural-looking results. Dr. Truesdale co-founded the Crown Hair Institute, aiming to provide accessible hair restoration options for diverse patient populations.
