Dr. Soner Tatlıdede

Dr. Soner Tatlıdede is a highly experienced Professor of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery with over 31 years in the field. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1988 and completed his specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Şişli Etfal Teaching and Research Hospital in 1995. His extensive international training includes fellowships at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston, USA, as well as experience in France. Dr. Tatlıdede is also recognized for his work in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hand Surgery. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Turkish Medical Association, the Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. In 2007, he received the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation Basic Research Grant Award in the USA.

FUE

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique where individual hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor area using a small circular punch tool. The harvested follicles are then carefully implanted into the balding or thinning areas of the scalp. This method leaves tiny, nearly invisible scars rather than a linear scar, resulting in faster healing and the ability to wear shorter hairstyles. Because of this, FUE is the most popular hair transplant technique today.
