About the Clinic

The Center for Modern Hair Transplantation, based in Berlin, performs hair transplantation using the IFUE technique, a further development of the FUE method, combined with what it calls the IG hair transplantation technique. Follicular units are extracted individually with fine hollow needles, stored in a cooled nutrient solution, sorted under microscope or magnification, and placed by hand into channels created with a manual slit technique. Treatments cover scalp hair for women and men with hereditary hair loss as well as eyelash, eyebrow, beard and body hair transplantation, and last from a few hours to two consecutive days depending on the extent of the procedure. Its medical director is Reza Azar.

Procedures Offered

FUE
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique where individual hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor area using a small circular punch tool. The harvested follicles are then carefully implanted into the balding or thinning areas of the scalp. This method leaves tiny, nearly invisible scars rather than a linear scar, resulting in faster healing and the ability to wear shorter hairstyles. Because of this, FUE is the most popular hair transplant technique today.
