Dr. Gerald Scott Welker is a surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the field. He graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1994. Mark Oyama, MD, is a physician associated with Bosley. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1994. Following his education, he completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York and a residency at UC Davis. Dr. Oyama then worked in private specialty practice and served on the faculty of the University of Illinois before moving to Penn Vet in 2005. He earned a master of science in clinical epidemiology from Penn's Perelman School of Medicine in 2015 and is a Diplomate of the ACVIM. In 2022, Mark Oyama was named Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences and Advanced Medicine (CSAM) and is a Professor in Cardiology. His primary interests include cardiology, cardiac examinations, echocardiograms, ECG, and both non-invasive and invasive surgeries.

Dr. James Aachen-Winans is a highly experienced hair restoration surgeon who has dedicated over 40 years to his medical career, focusing exclusively on hair transplantation since 2005. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and his Medical Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Dr. Burgos completed his general surgery residency at Tulane Medical School, where his research focused on microsurgery in transplantation. He brings over 30 years of medical experience, including a successful 16-year career in General and Laparoscopic Surgery before specializing in hair restoration at Bosley. Dr. Burgos is also bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.

Richard E. Lorenz, M.D., is a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in the field of hair restoration. He completed his medical education at the University of Minnesota in 1976, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington. Dr. Lorenz furthered his training with an internship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. He is recognized for his work in plastic surgery and has been practicing for over 40 years, with a significant focus on aesthetic procedures and patient care.

Dr. Carlos C. Tan brings over 40 years of medical experience to his specialized practice in hair restoration at Bosley.
