Christine M. Shaver is a dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon who performs follicular unit transplant (FUT) and follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplants, using the ARTAS Robotic System for FUE procedures and taking an interest in emerging hair loss therapies in development. She studied biology at M.I.T. and medicine at New York Medical College, completed an internal medicine internship at Yale University and a dermatology residency at Drexel–Hahnemann hospital in Philadelphia, where she served as Chief Resident, and finished a surgical fellowship in Los Angeles under Dr. William Rassman; she heads the Manhattan office, where she and Dr. Bernstein perform hair transplants daily.

Dr. Deirdre M. Connolly is a highly accomplished dermatologist with a strong educational background and extensive experience in her field. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and was valedictorian of her class at Stony Brook University School of Medicine, where she was also recognized with honors such as induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Foundation for Humanism honor societies. Dr. Connolly completed her dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, serving as Chief Resident, and further specialized with a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at Cooper University Hospital. Her commitment to excellence has been recognized with a 2024 Castle Connolly Top Doctor award, and she is double board-certified in dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery. Dr. Connolly has also contributed to the medical community through numerous publications and has authored a manual for the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Robert M. Bernstein, MD is a dermatologist practicing in New York who devotes his practice to hair transplantation. He trained in hair restoration surgery during his dermatology residency, performed hair transplantation and scalp reductions early in private practice, then left those procedures before returning to the field after observing large sessions of small grafts. In 1995 he published the concept of follicular transplantation, proposing that grafts consist only of naturally occurring follicular units and that transplant planning reflect each patient's own hair groupings.
